carbon steel BL flange

In the field of chemical engineering and machinery, the name of the blind is flange cover, reference standard HG/T 20592-2009.The effect is isolated and cut off. It is connected to the flange of the same specification with a sealed gasket in the middle, which can seal the end of the pipe to form a blind end, so the blind plate is called.
The blind flange is made without holes and is used to block the ends of pipes, valves and pressure vessels.
From the angle of internal pressure and bolt loading, blind flange, especially larger flange, is the most stress flange type.
However, most of these stresses are near the center of the bending type, and because of the absence of standard inner diameter, these flanges are suitable for higher pressure temperature applications.

production process of blind flange:
The forging process is generally composed of the following processes, namely the selection of high quality billets, heating, forming and cooling after forging. The forging process includes free forging, die forging and membrane forging. In production, different forging methods are selected according to the quality of the forgings and the number of production batches.
Free forging has low productivity and large machining allowance, but its tools are simple and versatility, so it is widely used in forging single piece and small batch forgings with simpler shape. Free forging equipment has air hammer, steam air hammer and hydraulic press, which are suitable for the production of small, medium and large forgings. Die forging has the advantages of high productivity, simple operation and easy realization of mechanization and automation. The die forging has high dimensional accuracy, small machining allowance, and more reasonable distribution of fiber structure of forging, which can further improve the service life of parts.
